We are a proud generational Toronto family, dedicated to the art of restoration for over 50 years. While we have long been your trusted local brick-and-mortar artisans, we are now excited to expand our reach and offer our services online.

Our story begins with my father's emigration from England in 1957. As a Master French Polisher, he worked for Eaton’s until 1965, when he established his own small business. In 1968, he relocated to our current location. I joined him after graduating from the Ontario College of Art & Design in 1983 with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts, and I am honored to carry on the family tradition.

Like old-world artisans, we use traditional methods, with most of our work done by hand. This tactile approach is essential, as much of the restoration relies on a deep, hands-on understanding of the wood and finishes.

We have collaborated with many designers and families on a variety of restoration projects. Our specialties include wood and paint finishes, repurposing old furniture or finishing new pieces, as well as gold and silver leafing. Additionally, we offer services for repairing chairs, tables, and cabinets.
